By using your mind and visualizing what you want to achieve the mind will work backwards to help you get to what you want. By taking the time to sit back and visualize what you want and seeing yourself doing successful tasks you will be more successful. Emmit Smith talked about how he would visualize himself running over Line Backers and defensive backs before every game, he saw himself scoring touchdowns. Guess what happened? He scored those touchdowns and he ran over the defense. Yes it did not happen all the time but it happened more often than not. Making Emmit Smith one of the most successful running backs of all time.
